Dr. Emily Guest is a Nashville native that grew up riding hunter/jumper horses. She attended college at Sewanee: The University of the South, where she studied Biology and rode on the equestrian team. After college, she went on to vet school at the University of Tennessee, and then completed an internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY. She joined the team at Tennessee Equine Hospital in 2020, where she works as an ambulatory associate veterinarian.
Dr. Cassie Baumgarten was born and raised in Minnesota, but chasing my career as led me all over the world – from Northern Wisconsin to the West Indies, Texas, Kansas, and the East Coast. I have a passion for medicine – especially neonatology and cardiology. Outside of work you will find me hiking with my dachshund, Artemis, or curled up watching movies.
Dr. Megan Van Geffen is a veterinarian with Tennessee Equine Hospital North in Gallatin, TN. She completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University where she majored in molecular and cellular biology. Dr. Megan attended veterinary school at North Carolina State University and went on to complete a one-year internship at Carolina Equine Hospital. During her internship year, Dr. Megan developed a strong foundation in all aspects of equine practice including medicine, lameness, and reproduction. Her special interests include equine internal medicine, neonatology, ophthalmology, and emergency care. She is certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA), allowing her to provide advanced equine chiropractic care.
