Jody Fontanetta is a fourth generation equestrian from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Her riding experience spans across many disciplines to include dressage, eventing, pony club, western events and gaited breeds. Jody has trained and competed on the national circuit in dressage through the FEI levels and participated in the North American Junior Young Rider Program. She earned her Bronze and Silver medal with the United States Dressage Federation. In 2017, she was introduced to Working Equitation and since has earned numerous high point awards in Region 7 through the Master’s level on self-trained horses. Jody is the 2024 & 2025 USAWE Eastern Zone Champion at the Master’s level with her own appendix gelding. Jody Fontanetta teaches and trains Classical Horsemanship and Working Equitation at her farm in Milton, Tennessee and travels nationwide for clinics. Jody Fontanetta is a USAWE Professional Instructor and L candidate for the USA Working Equitation judge’s program. She is listed in the USA Working Equitation International Riders’ Program and was the 1st rider to qualify for the 2026 WAWE World Championships.
