Amy Kerringan

Amy Kerrigan is an experienced Masterson Method Certified Practitioner with extensive experience in both individual bodywork as well as presenting interactive and/ or informational demo sessions. I work with the horse’s nervous system to release tension and restriction in key junctions of the horse’s body. In addition, my demos/ clinics help owners learn simple, interactive techniques that will deepen the bond they have with
their horse while also helping to alleviate tension in between visits from certified practitioners.

As an MMCP, I am trained to observe subtle signs of communication from the horse in order to work with their nervous system to release deep tension and restriction. Every horse is unique, so every session is tailored to the responses the horse gives. In this method of bodywork, less truly is more as horse’s work through areas where they may have been holding on to tension for years.

Emma Jones is a highly regarded equine bodywork professional and the founder of EJ Equine Bodywork. Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Emma serves a diverse clientele across the Tri-State area, including regular circuits through Nashville, Franklin, and Murfreesboro, as well as spanning the states of Alabama and Georgia.

As a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner (MMCP®), Emma specializes in an integrated approach to equine wellness that prioritizes biomechanics and the functional movement of the horse. While her background is rooted in over a decade of experience within the professional Dressage and Hunter/Jumper industries, her practice is inclusive of all horses, from elite sport athletes to dedicated companions and those in recovery.

Emma’s work is centered on the vital connection between the mind and the muscle. By working with the horse’s nervous system rather than against it, she helps owners and trainers access a deeper level of release in the horse’s body. This “mind-muscle” approach allows the horse to let go of deep-seated tension in key junctions, resulting in improved structural alignment, increased range of motion, and a more willing, relaxed disposition.

Whether a horse is competing at the highest levels of sport or navigating a rehabilitation journey, Emma is dedicated to helping every horse move at its best. Through EJ Equine Bodywork, she provides owners and trainers with the insights and results necessary to foster longevity, performance, and a higher quality of life for the equine partner.
